simstationdanceHi I'm simstationdance and I'm the music channel on your sim's TV, but you can call me Marko. (Just for clarity, I'm not the same 'Marko' who made hair meshes on TSR back in the day.)
I like taking pictures and telling stories in The Sims 2. Sometimes I also post custom content. I am not good at it but I’m doing my best.
I am an avid Strangetown stan, but I am currently focusing on creating my ocs in The Sims 2 and tossing them into one big custom neighborhood. You can read about them here... if I ever get around to actually posting about them like I said I would.
2024 Update: Due to Tumblr's current post editor being awful for formatting text and images, all of my future Sims stories, from now on, will be posted exclusively to Dreamwidth.
As of March 1st 2023, all of the custom content that I've ever uploaded ever, both before and after getting an SFS account - including some "unreleased" stuff - can be found in this simfileshare folder. Note that all folders inside of the RemiV2/V3 February 2023 archive do not have previews. (Also, I can't promise the highest quality for the unreleased stuff, it's in there mostly for archival. There's a reason it was never publicly posted.)

I have a very basic and open usage policy for 99% of my custom content:
I use GIMP 2.10.6 for just about everything. If you want me to upload any of my creator resources, such as volatile bases for hair*, curves and patterns that I've created, .xcf/psd or .dds files, etc. just hit me up.
All of the curves that I've released so far can be found in this SFS folder. Also includes swatches, information on how to use the curves, installation instructions, and a very basic and very open usage policy (it's basically the same as the above policy).
Keep in mind that curves I create based on Photoshop actions created by others, and the usage thereof, must abide by the original creator's terms of use.
Note: I don't usually include bases for Remi textures as I'd consider them fairly easy to use for beginners, but I will upload them if asked.
Here's a link to most of the curves that I use, created by Iakoa. You can ask for assistance with anything GIMP-related, but I'm still learning my way around the program myself, so I might not be able to help perfectly.

- You can do whatever you want with any of my content. No, really. Just give credit where it's due, and do not make people pay to access it in any way. Because I'd love to see/use stuff made with stuff I made, but I'm a broke bitch making content for a 20 year old abandonware game so I won't be paying for that shit.

And even if that happens when I'm still around, you can reupload it for convenience's sake (for reasons such as making it more accessible to others), but please let me know about it so that I can download it from you and fix the links myself because there's a very high chance that I don't have backups of my own (I know, very bad of me).
— If you want to and know how, feel free to convert my curves into actions for Photoshop. I don't have/use PS and have no idea how to do that myself.
- HOWEVER, almost all of the content that I have made so far has heavily relied on / used the resources and creations of others, so please follow their TOU and credit them appropriately.
- NO ADFLY OR OTHER PREDATORY VIRUS-RIDDEN LINK SHORTENERS, EVER.

As of 1/14/25, if I do hair retexturing again any time soon, my hair retextures using Io textures will come in the sixteen natural colors I use for my own game (because the previous 33 was Too Much):

Hair retextures released until fairly recently tend to come in a variety of unnaturals with no real consistency... sorry.
