SSDCC: all of my newer CC in one place

It's been a whileeeee

Anyway I'm going to put download links to all my newer CC here, stuff I've been too lazy to archive, because Tumblr is determined to end itself at the rate things have been going.

A bunch of hair color curves for GIMP

A set of colors for hair recoloring/retexturing. It's a resource for creators who use GIMP 2.x, and includes 11 UNNATURAL HAIR COLORS in the form of Curves that can be used on just about any texture you want, as long as you use it on a Volatile base. These only come in Curve form, but if anyone would like to convert them into Photoshop actions, you're more than welcome to.

The colors are named, in order of appearance above: Sapphire, Tanzanite, Azurite, Alexandrite, Moonstone, Aquamarine, Bloodstone, Ruby, Entropy, Blue Moon, and Lily. There are more swatches included in the download.

Crop Tops & Punk Skirts for AF + TF

A large set of stylish, vaguely Scene-inspired clothes for ladies - 24 recolors of the Urban Primitive skirt, separated from the Maxis outfit by Skell, and 5 Goth themed patterned recolors and 5 bright solid recolors of the 4t2 Bow Crop Top by MDPthatsme, with black tank top undershirts attached using textures by DeeDee. The clothes are for AF and TF, with Standalone and Repositoried options for TF, and they come with all morphs.

All meshes are included and special characters that would make the game load slower (specifically hyphens) have been removed from the filenames. Since the skirt is from the ever popular Maxis Match Repository Project, you probably have the mesh for the skirt lying around in your Downloads somewhere, so make sure you don't have duplicates.

For the skirts, there are two versions with tights - one of which is a mashup of fishnets by Io (colored red and black) and the Maxis black and white stockings, and the other is the Maxis shorts+fishnets texture because I liked it - and one version with bare legs.

Texture and alpha credits: DeeDee, Ghanima Atreides, Creesims, Io, and Maxis

Moonlite Eyes

Moonlite Eyes, hand drawn eyes on Rensim's sclera. I used various people’s color actions alongside the colors I used for the previous set of eyes. The picture with all of the colors shows their genetic values, 1 being dominant and 2 being recessive. My logic was “lighter colors = recessive, darker colors = dominant”.

Curiousb's Magic Theatre Eyes Edited

I'm very, very picky when it comes to eyes for my Sims 2 game, so I've been looking for the perfect set. During my search I found that I really liked the look of these eyes by Curiousb, but I didn't like the sclera they were on. So I decided to resclera them. And then I decided to start drawing over them, making small edits to the iris, changing the shine in the eye to look a bit different and painting over the new sclera (one by virtualpeople, I can't remember but I think it's this one) to be a bit whiter and a bit darker on top, because I didn't like how grey the edit I was using was. And then I decided to recolor them, and turn them into brand new defaults. I'm very happy with the result. For now, at least.

It comes in default colors only + an alien default. I might make more colors at a later date. It may not be the most animation friendly eye set in the world, but I’m personally okay with that.

Gemstone Eyes

As always, this set comes with 3 options: Custom Only, Geneticized, or Geneticized & Townified (GenTown). The files use the same packages, so pick only ONE folder when you put these in your game.

Genetic scale - this time around I categorized them by color: 1 (dominant) for Brown, 1.5 (semi-dominant) for Hazel and Dark Blue, 2 (recessive) for Green, Grey, and Light Blue, and 2.5 (very recessive) for Purple and Red.

Townification - all eyes are townified (which, for those unaware, means they will appear on randomly generated townies) except for Purple and Red due to the fact that, while I like them, purple and red eyes aren’t naturally occurring colors. You can change this by editing the “flags” part of the XML file in SimPE from 0x00000008 to 0x00000000.

I also included PNGs in case anyone wants to resclera them.

Credits: virtualpeople for the sclera, jessi_dot for the eye texture I used as a base.

Velvet slit skirts with wedge boots

Inspired by these skirts that I saw on Pinterest. This mesh is a shoeswap and slightly shortened edit of Azaya's velvet slit skirt, which was a mesh by Skell based on Amaryll's slit dress. The shoes are Yuichen's edit of Gelydh's cyber boots. It comes in 8 solid colors and 8 patterned versions. It has both morphs, it’s for AF only, and the mesh’s poly count is 1130.

Velvet pants with loafers

Recently, I was very inspired by “Whimsigoth” fashion, and I had a vision to create clothing like that for TS2. I had another vision inspired by these velvet pants with star decals on them, and I wanted to create ones that looked exactly like them. Unfortunately, the first vision is still a work in progress as of making this post, and the second vision didn’t quite come to fruition because I kind of went a little insane in the process of making these. As a result, I think most of the colors I picked for these pants are a bit too intense to count as anything resembling Whimsigoth at this point.

So instead, have these… vaguely goth-ish velvet pants instead. They count as… some kind of fashion style, right? Orange is a goth color if you put bats on it, right?

This set includes a tremendous 72 recolors of a shoeswapped mesh, combining [profile] serabiet’s GP10workpants conversion with Trillyke’s Heartbreaker Loafers converted by [profile] kestrelteens, with a texture by serenity-cc that I edited to look… vaguely like velvet.

There are 12 colors, with one set of solids and six patterned variants. See here: [OBLIGATORY GIANT SWATCH.PNG]

The pants are for adult females only (because I really didn’t want to go through the tedious mesh creation process twice, I’m sorry. You’re free to convert it to other ages/genders/whatever yourself, if you want to and know how) and it has both morphs. Lastly, the poly count for this mesh is 2942.
